social capital!

The notion of social capital is a form of response to one of the most decisive founding myths of modern civilization: that society is a set of independent individuals, each one acting to achieve objectives to which they arrive independently of each other.

In its strategy, miB incorporates a notion of social capital which assumes that individuals do not act independently, that its objectives are not established in an isolated way and that their behavior is not always strictly selfish.

Thus, it is assumed that social linkages should be seen as resources, as capital assets, that individuals and organizations can and should explore. The social capital is, in this sense, productive, since it makes possible to achieve goals that otherwise would never be reached.
